An award was initiated in memory of the first head of the Core Facility Imaging, Marion Gröger, who passed away in 2022.
As she was a dedicated microscopist with a foible for particularly original images, we want to award the most original imaging data (beautiful, funny, breath taking, curious, weird,…) acquired on any of our systems by you.
Any user can submit up to two images until Dec 1st. Please send your contribution to imaging@meduniwien.ac.at, including a name for the image, the system you used to acquire it and 1-2 sentences about why you submitted particularly that image.
The winner will be announced before X-mas.
There will be a small prize, a certificate and the winning contribution will be printed and displayed in our facility.
